Angela White — Biography & Career
Angela White is an Australian performer, director, and published researcher whose screen career began in 2003. Shortly after turning 18, she filmed her first scene for Score. In 2007, she appeared in the fifth series of the television comedy Pizza in a supporting role as Ruby, and her independent film releases included a production issued in 2011. She expanded her independent business in 2013 by launching her official website.
Alongside her screen work, White completed a first-class honours degree in gender studies at the University of Melbourne in 2010. Her research examined women’s experiences in the Australian pornography industry, and her honours thesis was published in 2017 in The Routledge Companion to Media, Sex and Sexuality. In 2014, she said she hoped to return to university for a PhD and broaden that research.
In 2010, she also ran as a candidate for the Australian Sex Party in the Victorian state election and received 2.9 percent of the vote. In October 2014, White signed a distribution deal with Girlfriends Films. That same month, she was named a Fleshlight Girl, becoming the first Australian to receive that designation. In 2016, she said she had moved to the United States and signed with Spiegler Girls to work with companies including Brazzers, Naughty America, and Jules Jordan. In January 2018, she co-hosted the 35th annual AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas.
White’s industry recognition includes induction into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2018 and the XRCO Hall of Fame. She won the AVN Female Performer of the Year award in 2018, 2019, and 2020, becoming the first person to receive it in three consecutive years. She also won the 2020 AVN Award for Best Leading Actress. In October 2021, she signed an exclusive contract with Brazzers.
