Johnny Sins — Biography & Career

Steven Wolfe (born December 31, 1978), known professionally as Johnny Sins, is an American adult film performer, director, and YouTuber. A Pittsburgh native and graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he worked in construction before moving to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue screen work full time. His earliest jobs in the industry came through Craigslist advertisements.

He became a prolific performer, and by April 2019 Brazzers had described him as a “go-to guy” who had appeared in more than 1,000 of the studio’s scenes. In 2015, he was attached to a Pornhub crowdfunding campaign intended to finance a film project in space alongside Eva Lovia. The campaign raised $236,086 in 60 days and fell short of its $3.4 million target.

In early 2017, he launched the YouTube channel SinsTV. After becoming its sole operator in 2019, he shifted the channel toward reaction videos and vlogs. By January 2024, SinsTV had passed 2.1 million subscribers and 109 million views. One video in which he tried Turkish snacks briefly became the most-viewed YouTube video in Turkey.

His industry recognition includes AVN Award wins in 2013, 2017, and 2018, an XBIZ Award win in 2016, and a Pornhub Award in 2018 for Most Popular Male Performer by Women. He also received additional nominations from AVN, XBIZ, and XRCO between 2009 and 2018. Since 2020, he has appeared occasionally in mainstream productions, shifted more of his work to OnlyFans, and appeared in an Indian television advertisement for men’s sexual health with Ranveer Singh. As of March 2025, he had appeared in almost 3,062 videos and remained a frequent subject of internet memes about the many occupations portrayed by his on-screen characters.
