Nacho Vidal — Biography & Career

Ignacio Jordà González (born 30 December 1973 in Mataró, Catalonia), known professionally as Nacho Vidal, is a Spanish adult film performer and director. Nacho is a common Spanish nickname for his given name, Ignacio. He began his career in 1994 in live shows at Sala Bagdad in Barcelona, where he met José María Ponce, director of the Barcelona International Erotic Film Festival, who introduced him to film work. In 1998, Rocco Siffredi brought him to Hollywood.

Vidal went on to appear in more than 1,500 films. His career developed across Spain, Hollywood, and later Europe. From 2000, he also worked as a producer and director, including projects for the Evil Angel company and gay productions within that catalog. He later helmed a Europe-shot series of his own, directing and appearing in those releases.

Outside adult film, he has taken credited roles in Spanish mainstream productions. His screen work includes the television series Los Simuladores and the films Va a ser que nadie es perfecto, El Alquimista Impaciente, and Impávido. In 2023, the eight-part Spanish-language television series Nacho, based on his life, was released in Spain and Latin America in March, with Martiño Rivas portraying him.

His career brought recognition from several European industry organisations. He received Ninfa Awards for Best Actor in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2008, and the Hot d'Or award for Best European Male Performer in 2009. He was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2012 and received the XBIZ award for Foreign Male Performer of the Year in 2012.
