Sunny Lane — Biography & Career

Sunny Lane is an American adult film actress and model whose screen career began in 2005. Before entering entertainment, she was a competitive roller skater and ice skater, and she later worked as a yoga and Pilates instructor. She then moved into exotic dancing, earning Déjà Vu Showgirl of the Year in 2004 during her first year in that field, before beginning to appear in adult films the following year.

Lane also built a television profile in the mid-2000s. She appeared in the first episode of the Fox reality series My Bare Lady, which aired on December 7, 2006. She was also featured on ABC Primetime: The Outsiders, appeared on Fox News' Geraldo at Large in March 2007 under the alias “Sunny Lee,” and was seen on Fuse TV's Pants-Off Dance-Off. At various points in her career, she also worked at Nevada's Moonlite BunnyRanch.

Her awards in the 2000s included the 2005 NightMoves Award for Best New Starlet (Editor's Choice), the 2006 AEBN VOD Award for Best Newcomer, the 2006 FOXE Award for Vixen, the 2006 NightMoves Award for Miss Congeniality, and the 2008 NightMoves Award for Best Feature Dancer (Fan's Choice). She also received AVN Awards in 2008 and 2009, reflecting recognition for her film work during that period.

In June 2011, Lane announced a hiatus from making adult films. She returned in November 2012, resuming film work and entertaining clients at the Moonlite BunnyRanch. Later career honors included induction into the NightMoves Hall of Fame in 2014, the AVN Hall of Fame in 2020, and the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2021.
