Kayden Kross — Biography & Career

Kayden Kross (born 1985) is an American performer, director, and writer. She worked with Vivid before becoming a free agent and later signed an exclusive contract with Adam & Eve. In September 2008, she was named Penthouse Pet of the Month, and that month she launched ClubKayden.com. She also wrote for UnKrossed.com.

On January 1, 2010, Kross began a multi-year exclusive contract with Digital Playground. Her first release for the company, The Smiths, topped sales charts, and she later took the lead in Body Heat. During this period, she won 2010 awards from Erotixxx, NightMoves, and Venus, followed by a 2011 XBIZ acting award. She co-hosted the 2010 AVN Awards and hosted the XBIZ Awards again in 2012.

In 2019, Kross launched Deeper, one of Vixen Media Group’s primary websites, as directing became a major focus of her career. Her honors in that role include the 2015 XBIZ Award for Director of the Year – Non-Feature Release, the 2018 AVN Award for Best Director – Non-Feature, AVN Director of the Year in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and the 2022 XBIZ Award for Director of the Year. She entered the AVN Hall of Fame in 2019 and the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2022.

Her work outside that field has included appearances in The League, Blue Dream, The Hungover Games, Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, Enter the Samurai, and Verotika, plus a bonus DVD feature for Breaking Bad. She briefly co-hosted Triggla TV’s Kayden’s Review in 2011, appeared in Girl/Girl Scene from 2012 to 2013, and began hosting Playboy Radio’s Krossfire in 2013. Her writing has appeared in Complex, XBIZ, and XCritic, and her short story “Plank” was published in Forty Stories: New Writing from Harper Perennial in 2012.
