Monique Alexander — Biography & Career
Monique Alexander is an American performer and model whose screen career began in 2001. She first worked as a stripper in Sacramento at age 18 while also holding a day job as a receptionist, then moved into film work the same year. Her early credits included productions for the adult market as well as softcore features made for HBO and Cinemax.
From 2004 to 2009, Alexander was a contract performer with Vivid Entertainment, a period that marked one of the central stretches of her adult-industry career. In 2005, her work broadened beyond the format that had defined her earliest appearances. She also appeared as a Trophy Girl at the 2002 AVN Awards. Later honors included induction into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Brazzers Hall of Fame in 2024.
Alongside that work, Alexander took a number of mainstream and related media roles. She appeared in the 2002 film Spider's Web, made a cameo in the season three finale of HBO's Entourage, became a sports reporter on National Lampoon Comedy Radio's The Phil Show in 2007, and later appeared in the 2009 action film Crank: High Voltage.
Alexander has also been active in public discussions of free speech and sex education. In 2007, she appeared on Fox News' Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld to discuss research on abstinence-only programs and the effectiveness of safe-sex education. The following year, she took part in a Yale University debate that was later aired on ABC's Nightline. In 2017, she participated in a public service campaign encouraging discussion of sexual health education at home.
