Taylor Wane — Biography & Career

Taylor Wane is a British actress, model, director, and entrepreneur whose screen career began in 1989. Alongside performance work, she built a print profile through repeated appearances in Penthouse and features in Celebrity Skin, Bizarre Magazine, Gent, and Busty Beauties. She also wrote a monthly column for Busty Beauties, became a monthly columnist for AVN Insider in 2005, and was named Penthouse Pet of the Month in June 1994.

Her credits include mainstream television and film appearances. She appeared in the 1994 children's science-fiction series CYBERKIDZ, the 2000 comedy Little Nicky, HBO's The Mind of the Married Man in 2002, and Burning Hollywood in 2009. Other television appearances included Gene Simmons' Family Jewels, My Bare Lady, and Nip/Tuck. Her other feature film credits include State of Play, Frost/Nixon, A Beautiful Life, and The Girl from the Naked Eye.

Beyond acting and modeling, Wane developed several media and business projects. In the mid-1990s she started Taylor Wane Entertainment, her own production company. She later hosted radio programs on Spice Radio and KSEX Radio, and she co-created a Carnal Comics issue built around her autobiography and a fantasy story. In 2003, she launched the quarterly comic series Vamptrix with H Bomb Comics. She also operated Laurien Photographic, a photo agency licensing images to stock agencies and magazines.

Wane received an AVN Award in 1992 and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2005 and the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2014. She also won KSEXradio Listener's Choice Awards in 2005 and 2006. Outside entertainment, she hosted events supporting breast cancer awareness and fundraising for cancer, leukemia, and AIDS research, and in 2008 she contributed "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" to the charity album Rock 4 X-Mas.
