Tera Patrick — Biography & Career

Tera Patrick (born Linda Ann Hopkins on July 25, 1976) is an American former adult film performer whose career expanded into magazine publishing, television hosting, and other media projects. She appeared in Playboy and Penthouse, where she was Penthouse Pet of the Month for February 2000 and later a Pet of the Year runner-up. In 2003, she became the masthead publisher of Genesis.

Patrick continued screen work through the 2000s and starred in the 2006 Vivid/Teravision production Tera Patrick's Fashion Underground. In 2008, she began hosting a Playboy TV instructional series and also hosted the 25th AVN Awards ceremony. She retired from shooting scenes in 2008, while continuing to operate her website and production company and to license her movie catalog worldwide. In January 2013, she hosted the annual XBIZ Awards.

Beyond that field, Patrick voiced and appeared as herself in a 2006 episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Her other media credits include Chelsea Lately, Last Call with Carson Daly, MSNBC, Fox News, and Telemundo. She was on the cover of the July 2006 American edition of FHM, appeared in Everlast's video for "I Can't Move," and had a cameo in the 2007 comedy Blades of Glory.

Patrick was also made into a playable character in Backyard Wrestling 2. She later took part in promotion for the 2008 video game Saints Row 2 and provided voice work for its expansion pack Ultor Exposed. She co-wrote the memoir Sinner Takes All with Carrie Borzillo, published by Gotham Books in 2009. Later credits included the Indonesian horror film Rintihan Kuntilanak Perawan in 2010 and Angel of Darkness: The Legend of Lilith in 2014. She is an inductee of the NightMoves, AVN, and XRCO Halls of Fame and a recipient of awards including Hot d'Or, NightMoves, AVN, XRCO, Venus, and XBIZ.
